After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ronaldão de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Queixo Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldão de Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Carlos Terra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Evandro da Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldão de Salles got free with João Carlos Terra in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evandro da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Terra having to interfere. Evandro da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ronaldão de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Carlos Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro da Fonseca in the 23rd minute of play. Evandro da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evandro da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. João Carlos Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jerumirim's Murillo Paraense got a free kick in the 31st minute. With an all-out effort, Queixo Juniors's João Carlos Terra threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Evandro da Fonseca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. But to his dismay, Ronaldão de Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Queixo Juniors's zone, Paulo José Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Róbson Abraão came out of the goal and Paulo José Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Evandro da Fonseca fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of João Carlos Terra, passed just outside the right post. Erasmo Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evandro da Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronaldão de Salles succeeded in the game's 58th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jerumirim's goalkeeper João Carlos Terra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronaldão de Salles struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. João Carlos Terra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queixo Juniors. In the 73rd minute Evandro da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jerumirim's Paulo José Guerra got a free kick in the 76th minute. Ronaldão de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Queixo Juniors getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Erasmo Quintal hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldão de Salles in the 85th minute of play forced Jerumirim's goalkeeper João Carlos Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
