Chicão Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, COXA DE MINHOCA's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Pirani came free, but Chicão Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valério Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júnior Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júnior Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valério Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Severino Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juraraita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giovanni Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Chicão Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Juraraita's Severino Marquez in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye COXA DE MINHOCA's goalie prevented a goal. Giovanni Pirani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chicão Furlan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Chicão Furlan came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Juraraita's Giovanni Pirani. But to his dismay, Giovanni Pirani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valério Bittencourt to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Juraraita's Simão Cerezo got a free kick in the 60th minute. Juraraita's Ademir Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Sergipano in the 62nd minute of play. COXA DE MINHOCA's Chicão Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Pirani in the 70th minute of play. Giovanni Pirani had several of the COXA DE MINHOCA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Chicão Furlan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Giovanni Pirani's late challenge caught a COXA DE MINHOCA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni Pirani helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Juraraita getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Giovanni Pirani hit a great ball. Manfredo Donatello took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chicão Furlan. COXA DE MINHOCA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 87th minute, Severino Marquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juraraita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 90th minute Giovanni Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Severino Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Juraraita's Giovanni Pirani dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Giovanni Pirani struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Chicão Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juraraita. The COXA DE MINHOCA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Juraraita's performance. The match ended with a win for Juraraita.
