The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Dijeh Esporte Clube booed when Amanhece was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dijeh Esporte Clube's Pedrão Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Pimenta in the 7th minute of play. Fabiano Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fabiano Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulisses Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Ferraz in the 12th minute of play. Guilherme Ferraz succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After a rather tough play, Dijeh Esporte Clube's Matheus Freitas got a free kick in the 19th minute. Ulisses Pires made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Fabiano Magalhães sent off a good shot on target. If Guilherme Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses Pires having to interfere. Ulisses Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Ferraz in the 30th minute of the match. Ulisses Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabiano Magalhães got free with Ulisses Pires in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Dijeh Esporte Clube's Simeon Botham in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a little luck, Amanhece's Ulisses Pires got control of the ball when Fabiano Magalhães tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guilherme Ferraz to make the kick off. Ulisses Pires came out of the goal and Simeon Botham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabiano Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses Pires having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Guilherme Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dijeh Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilherme Ferraz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guilherme Ferraz took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulisses Pires. Ulisses Pires dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Roberto Vaz's late challenge caught a Dijeh Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Vaz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Amanhece's Roberto Vaz got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Luciano Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ulisses Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Fabiano Magalhães sped through Amanhece's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ulisses Pires. 82 minutes into the game, Fabiano Magalhães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ulisses Pires was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Amanhece defense, Luciano Meira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulisses Pires. The Amanhece fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulisses Pires should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabiano Magalhães in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulisses Pires saved Amanhece from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Amanhece's zone, Guilherme Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulisses Pires came out of the goal and Guilherme Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabiano Magalhães's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulisses Pires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Amanhece's Ulisses Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Magalhães in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dijeh Esporte Clube fully deserved thier win.
