Spectators: 7237 (Terracing: 5432, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 140) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Breno Peres kicked off to start the match. S.D Lambrusco's Luiz Fabiano Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy Carneiro in the 5th minute of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Breno Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos Dumont FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Fabiano Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Berger in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, S.D Lambrusco's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Peres came free, but Luiz Fabiano Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Santos Dumont FC's zone, Gerson de Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matheus Meireles came out of the goal and Gerson de Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Augusto Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Matheus Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Claudinei Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fabiano Zonta came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Santos Dumont FC's Breno Peres. But to his dismay, Breno Peres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

The wind increased when Carlos Augusto Silva made the kick off in the second half. Breno Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matheus Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerson de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Carlos Augusto Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match Osvaldinho Prata shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Fabiano Zonta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arlindo Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arlindo Pinheiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Arlindo Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breno Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matheus Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Silva in the 88th minute of play. Santos Dumont FC's Breno Peres got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matheus Meireles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Augusto Silva's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Arlindo Pinheiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
