Guilherme Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Delfim Paes fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Goianiense's protests and gave Delfim Paes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute Guilherme Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luan Paiva fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Goianiense's protests and gave Luan Paiva a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Dijeh Esporte Clube booed when Atlético Goianiense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luan Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Guilherme Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dijeh Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilherme Ferraz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atlético Goianiense's Edvaldo Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Goianiense from getting a goal against them. With his leg Edvaldo Guedes managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Dijeh Esporte Clube's Guilherme Ferraz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Atlético Goianiense's Edvaldo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Magalhães in the 61st minute of play. Fabiano Magalhães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvaldo Guedes having to make a save. In the 66thth minute of the game Guilherme Ferraz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Goianiense's Edvaldo Guedes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edvaldo Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Ferraz in the 68th minute of play. Fabiano Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Guilherme Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Guilherme Ferraz put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edvaldo Guedes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guilherme Ferraz in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvaldo Guedes saved Atlético Goianiense from getting behind. Luan Paiva hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, Adalberto Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Goianiense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dijeh Esporte Clube the free kick. Dijeh Esporte Clube's Matheus Bueno was substituted for Guilherme Ferraz. Adalberto Vale hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Dijeh Esporte Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
