Luciano Pernambucano hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dijeh Esporte Clube's zone, Rafa Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrão Saldanha came out of the goal and Rafa Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Galópolis FC's Emil Hajduk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Galópolis FC from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 28 in the game by Fabiano Magalhães from a close distance when the talented Emil Hajduk managed to make a qualified save. Galópolis FC's players were relieved. In the 30th minute, Matheus Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Barsi hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Guilherme Ferraz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galópolis FC's Emil Hajduk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabiano Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Emil Hajduk made a huge save. In the 44th minute Guilherme Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Hajduk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Galópolis FC's goalkeeper Emil Hajduk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano Magalhães. 48 minutes into the game, Fabiano Magalhães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Emil Hajduk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 89th minute Luciano Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Hajduk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Fabiano Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dijeh Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emil Hajduk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Hajduk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Magalhães in the 96th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Galópolis FC's Egídio Cordeiro got a free kick in the 97th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dijeh Esporte Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while Galópolis FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
