Toninho Messias started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Alcance Futebol Clube's Zé Roberto Couto got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Abel da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Reinaldo Sergipano scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdo Gaúcho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Dráuzio de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Noia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráuzio de Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdo Gaúcho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alcance Futebol Clube's Valdo Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio de Carvalho in the 20th minute of play. Delfim Alcântara's late challenge caught a Sport Noia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delfim Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes, Sport Noia FC's Jarbas Abreu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valdo Gaúcho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sport Noia FC reached it. During the 22nd minute of the match Delfim Alcântara completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Delfim Alcântara a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 23 played minutes Alcance Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Alcântara. Zé Roberto Couto struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jânio Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcance Futebol Clube. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio de Carvalho in the 32nd minute of play forced Alcance Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Valdo Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Falcão Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jânio Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toninho Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Falcão Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jânio Magalhães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Alcance Futebol Clube's zone, Reinaldo Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdo Gaúcho came out of the goal and Reinaldo Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Falcão Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sport Noia FC's Jânio Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Roberto Couto in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Roberto Couto during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valdo Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Valdo Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio de Carvalho in the 62nd minute of the match. Zé Roberto Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jânio Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Sport Noia FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alcance Futebol Clube:s goal. In the 73rd minute, Alcance Futebol Clube got a penalty, and Dagoberto Vasconcelos placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Toninho Messias kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 77thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Sport Noia FC's keeper Jânio Magalhães was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 78 minutes into the match, Sport Noia FC's goalkeeper Jânio Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Falcão Marques. Falcão Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jânio Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sport Noia FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Abel da Silva hit a great ball. Falcão Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jânio Magalhães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Falcão Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. If Giuseppe Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes of play, Sport Noia FC's Dráuzio de Carvalho made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdo Gaúcho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reinaldo Sergipano might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdo Gaúcho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reinaldo Sergipano ran back to his position shaking his head. Valdo Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Falcão Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Jânio Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Sport Noia FC could leave the field as winners, despite Alcance Futebol Clube having more of the ball for most of the match.
