When Kasesky EC's Cássio Recife in 18 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Matheus Meireles guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Breno Peres during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cássio Recife's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matheus Meireles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Pascual Barrutia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 40th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Pascual Barrutia came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Kasesky EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Barrutia couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Cássio Recife fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Matheus Meireles, passed just outside the right post. In the 47th minute Ruy Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Breno Peres hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, Claudinei Berger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gino de Mendonça. Claudinei Berger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 76th minute, Cássio Recife made a precise shot to the right of Matheus Meireles. Santos Dumont FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Claudinei Berger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Gino de Mendonça made a huge save. Matheus Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Recife in the 92nd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Kasesky EC's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Peres came free, but Gino de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Although Kasesky EC had been in control for most of the match, Santos Dumont FC still came away with the win.
