Gino de Mendonça was a little too slow when Bruninho Toledo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-2. After 38 played minutes Zelia FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Toledo. Ronaldo Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Recife in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Cássio Recife made the kick off in the second half. Kasesky EC's Gino de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Vander in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cássio Recife in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldo Cosme saved Zelia FC from getting behind. The Zelia FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kasesky EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
