In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Paranaense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zart Futebol Clube's Antônio Carlos Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo da Rocha in the 17th minute of play. Wilian Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Luizinho de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Viannopolis FC's goalkeeper Luizinho de Lara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilian Koehler. Luizinho de Lara was a little too slow when Wilian Koehler got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Luiz Paulo Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, Viannopolis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilian Koehler in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luizinho de Lara saved Viannopolis FC from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

54 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Vianna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Luizinho de Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Viannopolis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Durvalino Mazza came free, but Luizinho de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilian Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho de Lara having to interfere. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zart Futebol Clube! In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Viannopolis FC. Noel Linhares stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Antônio Carlos Paranaense. 2-1. 69 minutes into the game, Zart Futebol Clube's Luiz Paulo Vianna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luizinho de Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Luizinho de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Antônio Carlos Paranaense was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Manuel Tasso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
