But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guto Gamalov couldn't finish the play. If Samuca Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geribues's Samuca Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, C.R 13 de Jacarepaguá's goalkeeper João Vítor Peixoto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guto Gamalov. 22 minutes into the match, Geribues's Guto Gamalov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Vítor Peixoto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guto Gamalov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but João Vítor Peixoto made a huge save. 26 minutes into the game, Aloísio Passos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geribues's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.R 13 de Jacarepaguá the free kick. Aloísio Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Betinho de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Samuca Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. João Vítor Peixoto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Geribues's Guto Gamalov shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Osmar Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geribues's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osmar Palmeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hudson Leite hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Guto Gamalov made a precise shot to the right of João Vítor Peixoto. C.R 13 de Jacarepaguá's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guto Gamalov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geribues's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Donato Vasconcelos scored to the left of an out of position Betinho de Amaral, making the score, 3-1. C.R 13 de Jacarepaguá's Cleiton Dantas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Betinho de Amaral but with some difficulty. If Donato Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Guto Gamalov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. João Vítor Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guto Gamalov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davi Vander made in the 82nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Danilo Pires. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. João Vítor Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto Gamalov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Geribues were the better team. Geribues's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
