The Geribues fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Geribues's Guto Gamalov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 15 minutes, Guto Gamalov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geribues and the Zart Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Guto Gamalov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antônio Carlos Paranaense was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Antônio Carlos Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto Gamalov in the 34th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Zart Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Diguinho Matorin.

The wind increased when Guto Gamalov made the kick off in the second half. When the match was over Geribues could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zart Futebol Clube throughout the match.
