Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Demônios de Serrana's Sílvio Luís Araújo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luizinho de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chiquinho Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Luizinho de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Manuel Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viannopolis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Tasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Paulo Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luizinho de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luís Araújo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luizinho de Lara. Viannopolis FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Luís Araújo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luizinho de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Araújo in the 32nd minute of play. If Sílvio Luís Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Geovanni Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adriano Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luizinho de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Manuel Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Pedro Paulo Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viannopolis FC's Manuel Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matheus Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Demônios de Serrana were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matheus Ferraz to make the kick off. Nicolas Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Chiquinho Monteiro fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Demônios de Serrana's protests and gave Chiquinho Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Demônios de Serrana got a freekick which was hit by Chiquinho Monteiro. Matheus Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes, Sílvio Luís Araújo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Viannopolis FC's Luizinho de Lara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Noel Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Viannopolis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinei Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. Viannopolis FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Adriano Neves scored to the left of an out of position Luizinho de Lara, making the score, 0-3. In the 74th minute, Sílvio Luís Araújo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luizinho de Lara. The goal made the score 0-4. 78 minutes into the match, Demônios de Serrana's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Tasso came free, but Pedro Paulo Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matheus Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Pedro Paulo Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matheus Ferraz in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Paulo Sá saved Demônios de Serrana from getting behind. Sílvio Luís Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Luizinho de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thiago de Mendonça's late challenge caught a Viannopolis FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thiago de Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Thiago de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Manuel Tasso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viannopolis FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Demônios de Serrana had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
