With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomé Tróia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomé Tróia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinho Breckenfeld went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tomé Tróia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Percy Luz's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 19th minute Claudinho Breckenfeld collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deivid Paiva during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, São.Paulo .F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deivid Paiva to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Nelsinho Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. São.Paulo .F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelsinho Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomé Tróia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vodka Diamond. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Percy Luz to make the kick off. Vodka Diamond's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvério Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 76 played minutes São.Paulo .F.C got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Paiva. If Percy Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. In the 93rd minute, Marcel Berger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percy Luz in the 96th minute of play forced São.Paulo .F.C's goalkeeper Tomé Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percy Luz had several of the São.Paulo .F.C's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 99 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Tomé Tróia as he didn't even see the shot coming. The São.Paulo .F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vodka Diamond were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
