After a defensive mix-up in Campos Verdes NFC's zone, Wesley Dracena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Queirós came out of the goal and Wesley Dracena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Campos Verdes NFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Dieguinho Moreno hit a great ball. Jefferson Munhoz might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simão Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jefferson Munhoz ran back to his position shaking his head. Simão Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Santana in the 42nd minute of the match. Campos Verdes NFC's Simão Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Santana in the 47th minute of play.

Clóvis Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Donato having to interfere. If Victor Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Zé Pedro Saraiva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Simão Queirós, 0-3. Campos Verdes NFC's Simão Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Campos Verdes NFC from getting a goal against them. Aquino Futebol Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
