The supporters of Assungui EC booed when FalindoPorCausaDoMz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Erivaldo Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Gomes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maicon Jacinto was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Orlando Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erivaldo Marquez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Chants of Assungui EC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as FalindoPorCausaDoMz had held the ball for most of the match.
