The supporters of FalindoPorCausaDoMz booed when Lembranca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Gomes got free with Arnaldo Santana in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erivaldo Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 30th match minute, Lembranca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Leme to maneuver through the defense. Tales de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Erivaldo Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Santana made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Leopoldo Gomes sent off a good shot on target. Arnaldo Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar Simão in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Leopoldo Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FalindoPorCausaDoMz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osmar Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tales de Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, FalindoPorCausaDoMz's goal looked a bit too open when Tales de Sousa came free, but Erivaldo Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osmar Simão scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Santana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute, Leopoldo Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of FalindoPorCausaDoMz:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lembranca:s goal. When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, Lembranca's João Carlos Carneiro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Erivaldo Marquez. After 82 played minutes, FalindoPorCausaDoMz's Antônio Carlos Marquez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnaldo Santana came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Arnaldo Santana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquim Faria went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. FalindoPorCausaDoMz were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lembranca for a fine match.
