Spectators: 7121 (Terracing: 5447, Seating: 1530, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amauri Mello started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Vito Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Gomes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raí Meireles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. When Cristian Vaz fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rolador's protests and gave Cristian Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Cristian Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Rolador's zone, Osmar Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raí Meireles came out of the goal and Osmar Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Faria's late challenge caught a Rolador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Faria helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, FalindoPorCausaDoMz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Faria to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri Mello in the 23rd minute of play forced FalindoPorCausaDoMz's goalkeeper Erivaldo Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raí Meireles was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Joaquim Faria capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joaquim Faria really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After 28 played minutes Rolador got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Breckenfeld. After having played for 30 minutes, Leopoldo Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FalindoPorCausaDoMz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Rolador getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Aloísio Breckenfeld hit a great ball. Osmar Simão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raí Meireles having to make a save. In the 39th minute, Leopoldo Gomes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FalindoPorCausaDoMz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri Mello in the 42nd minute of play forced FalindoPorCausaDoMz's goalkeeper Erivaldo Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 44th minute of the match Joaquim Faria completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Joaquim Faria a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, FalindoPorCausaDoMz's Joaquim Faria got a free kick in the 45th minute. Arthur Moraes, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Amauri Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leopoldo Gomes to make the kick off. Leopoldo Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Raí Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Aloísio Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amauri Mello might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erivaldo Marquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amauri Mello ran back to his position shaking his head. When Luís Fernando Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Rolador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fernando Duarte couldn't finish the play. In the 71st match minute, FalindoPorCausaDoMz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Porto to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Moraes, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 74th minute, Amauri Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 77 played minutes Rolador got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando Duarte. Amauri Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Erivaldo Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Amauri Mello recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erivaldo Marquez. Amauri Mello showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. FalindoPorCausaDoMz's Erivaldo Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Mello in the 97th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
