Umberto Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amauri Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto Rodrigues having to interfere. If Hortêncio Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Amauri Mello notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pedrinha's Umberto Rodrigues. Umberto Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amauri Mello scored 0-3 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Umberto Rodrigues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Pedrinha's goal looked a bit too open when Amauri Mello came free, but Umberto Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. César Messias's late challenge caught a Rolador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César Messias helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, César Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Umberto Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amauri Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute Amauri Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Duarte in the 30th minute of play forced Pedrinha's goalkeeper Umberto Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Umberto Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amauri Mello in the 31st minute of play. João Francisco da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when César Messias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Umberto Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Breckenfeld in the 52nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Umberto Rodrigues successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 60th minute, Amauri Mello fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Umberto Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fernando Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes, Rolador's Arthur Moraes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Umberto Rodrigues came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rolador reached it. Thanks to some nice moves Aloísio Breckenfeld could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Umberto Rodrigues however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, César Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pedrinha's supporters rose to their feet, but César Messias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raí Meireles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Rolador booed when Pedrinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arthur Moraes, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Umberto Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amauri Mello in the 73rd minute of play. After 77 played minutes Rolador got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Breckenfeld. In the 79th minute, Aloísio Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. César Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Meireles having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Raphael da Silveira threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pedrinha's César Messias quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rolador's Raí Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Azevedo in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to Rolador getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Amauri Mello hit a great ball. The Pedrinha supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rolador's performance. The match ended with a win for Rolador.
