The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Luiz Eduardo Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Santana. Lembranca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Eduardo Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Jaibaras's Virgílio Nogueira got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Luiz Eduardo Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Santana having to interfere.
