The Real Brasil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Arantes came free, but Christiano Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Real Brasil's Romeu Corrêa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christiano Cearense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Alex Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruninho Fonseca was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Brasil reached it. Tony Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Paulo Renato Paraibano fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube's protests and gave Paulo Renato Paraibano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Real Brasil booed when Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Geraldo de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Brasil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geraldo de Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, one of Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube. Geraldo de Barros placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 34thth minute of the game Romeu Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube's Christiano Cearense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christiano Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Arantes in the 38th minute of play. When Romeu Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Real Brasil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeu Corrêa couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Tony Arantes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christiano Cearense. Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tony Arantes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Christiano Cearense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Brasil were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Rafael Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Brasil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube's zone, Tony Arantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christiano Cearense came out of the goal and Tony Arantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th match minute, Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrézinho Pena to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Christiano Cearense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Diamantino Neto fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube's protests and gave Diamantino Neto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, one of Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube. Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube:s Christiano Cearense showed great skill when he stopped Geraldo de Barros:s penalty. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Geraldo de Barros was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Brasil's players had a chance to rest. Real Brasil's Romeu Corrêa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christiano Cearense in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Tony Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Gilberto Amorim scored to the left of an out of position Christiano Cearense, making the score, 0-3. When Tony Arantes came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Real Brasil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Arantes couldn't finish the play. Christiano Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Arantes in the 85th minute of play. Real Brasil's Tony Arantes got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Real Brasil's Christiano Cearense threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tony Arantes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 92 minutes, Rafael Severo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Brasil and the Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Rafael Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emerson Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Brasil's Tony Arantes got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Rio Paraíba Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Real Brasil were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
