Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jaibaras's Dráuzio Dante started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tony Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute Tony Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Amorim in the 21st minute of play forced Jaibaras's goalkeeper Francisco Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Neto made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Romeu Corrêa sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Amorim in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony Arantes during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jaibaras booed when Real Brasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráuzio Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The long shot by Orlando Prado in the 36th minute really tested Francisco Neto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Dráuzio Dante came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Jaibaras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráuzio Dante couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Real Brasil's zone, Dráuzio Dante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruninho Fonseca came out of the goal and Dráuzio Dante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Tony Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Brasil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony Arantes to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Jaibaras's goal looked a bit too open when Romeu Corrêa came free, but Francisco Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Real Brasil getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Gualter Salgado hit a great ball. When Jaibaras's Dráuzio Dante in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Brasil's goalie prevented a goal. Bruninho Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dráuzio Dante in the 73rd minute. After 78 minutes, Ademar Barral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Brasil and the Jaibaras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Real Brasil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademar Barral to maneuver through the defense. Dráuzio Dante struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Bruninho Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaibaras. Dráuzio Dante had several of the Real Brasil's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Bruninho Fonseca as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 87th minute, Gualter Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dráuzio Dante scored 1-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruninho Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Jaibaras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Brasil throughout the match.
