In the 14thth minute of the game Hélder Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KOBRA FC's Joaquim Santana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raimundo Seco charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Seco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of KOBRA FC booed when Mount Rushmore FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edu Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Coutinho in the 23rd minute of play forced KOBRA FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Ademir Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Montenegro in the 47th minute of the match. The KOBRA FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mount Rushmore FC were winning 0-1.

In the 51st minute, Aníbal Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mount Rushmore FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Deivid Leão hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes, Mount Rushmore FC's Léo Saldanha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquim Santana came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mount Rushmore FC reached it. 63 minutes into the match, Mount Rushmore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Mineiro came free, but Eliézer Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ademir Coutinho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquim Santana. That made the score 0-2 in the 64 minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Mount Rushmore FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. When Hélder Montenegro got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Mount Rushmore FC. Joaquim Santana made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Ademir Coutinho sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the match, Ademir Coutinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joaquim Santana, 0-3. With his leg Joaquim Santana managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Mount Rushmore FC's Ademir Coutinho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Montenegro in the 80th minute of play forced KOBRA FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd match minute, KOBRA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felippe Marinho to maneuver through the defense.
