In the 9th minute of the match, Sílvio Rosado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eliézer Leão was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 11thth minute of the game Ademir Coutinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but esgna gado's Natanael Guedes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 15 in the game by Diamantino Prado from a close distance when the talented Eliézer Leão managed to make a qualified save. Mount Rushmore FC's players were relieved. Sílvio Rosado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deivid Leão during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Deivid Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Oscar Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mount Rushmore FC's zone, Sílvio Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliézer Leão came out of the goal and Sílvio Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of esgna gado booed when Mount Rushmore FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Mount Rushmore FC's Caetano Pombal got a free kick in the 27th minute. Alfredão Lara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eliézer Leão. Mount Rushmore FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when esgna gado's Oscar Bittencourt in the 30th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Eliézer Leão was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Mount Rushmore FC through an amazing save. In the 32nd minute, Sílvio Rosado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ademir Coutinho scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natanael Guedes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Hélder Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Montenegro in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natanael Guedes prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hélder Montenegro made a kick off. Eliézer Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ademir Coutinho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Natanael Guedes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ademir Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Guedes having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Ademir Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mount Rushmore FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademir Coutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Lago during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Artur Lago hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Montenegro in the 66th minute of play forced esgna gado's goalkeeper Natanael Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredão Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Ademir Coutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Natanael Guedes made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Ademir Coutinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natanael Guedes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Natanael Guedes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ademir Coutinho in the 84th minute. esgna gado's Natanael Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Montenegro in the 86th minute of play. Natanael Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Pombal in the 88th minute of the match. Maurinho Freitas hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Hélder Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademir Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mount Rushmore FC played a much better game than esgna gado and deserved their victory. The esgna gado players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
