Emanuel Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Paranaense in the 34th minute of play. Fausto Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Emanuel Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Fausto Paraibano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernani Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Fantini having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dieguinho Alagoano was the one to do the kick off. Ernani Paranaense might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Fantini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernani Paranaense ran back to his position shaking his head. Berserkers's Mané de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguinho Alagoano in the 53rd minute of play. Dieguinho Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Dieguinho Alagoano made a precise shot to the right of Mané de Alcântara. Berserkers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Ernani Paranaense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Fantini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Barra Mansa Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Tomé Teixeira hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Barra Mansa Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Ernani Paranaense came free, but Emanuel Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Ernani Paranaense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emanuel Fantini, 4-1. Mané de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieguinho Alagoano in the 84th minute of play. If Ernani Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dieguinho Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané de Alcântara having to interfere. Emanuel Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernani Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
