In the 6th minute, Marco Mandrak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eliézer Leão. The goal made the score 1-0. Ademir Coutinho struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Fabiën van Steensel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mount Rushmore FC. Marco Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Eliézer Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliézer Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Mandrak in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Ademir Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mount Rushmore FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademir Coutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ademir Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiën van Steensel having to interfere. Marco Mandrak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eliézer Leão came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Mandrak slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Mount Rushmore FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Léo Saldanha hit a great ball. Basílio Penhas short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Eliézer Leão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Hélder Montenegro made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulão Mota during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st match minute, SER ITATIAIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulão Mota to maneuver through the defense. Mount Rushmore FC's Hélder Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Basílio Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Eliézer Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marco Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the SER ITATIAIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Mandrak couldn't finish the play. When SER ITATIAIA's Basílio Penha in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of SER ITATIAIA booed when Mount Rushmore FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademir Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basílio Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliézer Leão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Penha's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After some careless play in the Mount Rushmore FC defense, Marco Mandrak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliézer Leão. The Mount Rushmore FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliézer Leão should have stopped the shot. Mount Rushmore FC's Eliézer Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Mandrak in the 93rd minute of play.
