To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. esgna gado's Natanael Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manoel Cerezo in the 15th minute of play. In the 25th minute Sílvio Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sílvio Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Santana having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, esgna gado's goalkeeper Natanael Guedes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edu Munhoz. Sílvio Rosado scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquim Santana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a rather tough play, KOBRA FC's Kiko Trevisan got a free kick in the 57th minute. Sílvio Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Joaquim Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Bittencourt's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. When Manoel Cerezo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the KOBRA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manoel Cerezo couldn't finish the play. Manoel Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
