Eliézer Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Paranaense in the 4th minute of play. Mané de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Montenegro in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané de Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Mount Rushmore FC booed when Berserkers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bebeto Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deivid Leão charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Deivid Leão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mané de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Ademir Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mount Rushmore FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademir Coutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Fausto Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berserkers's Mané de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Montenegro in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the Berserkers defense, Ademir Coutinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mané de Alcântara. The Berserkers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mané de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute, Ademir Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Fausto Paraibano fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berserkers's protests and gave Fausto Paraibano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Berserkers getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Fausto Paraibano hit a great ball. A hard shot 37 in the game by Ademir Coutinho from a close distance when the talented Mané de Alcântara managed to make a qualified save. Berserkers's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Hélder Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mané de Alcântara was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernani Paranaense made a kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Ademir Coutinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berserkers's Mané de Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ademir Coutinho struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Mané de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mount Rushmore FC. In the 58th minute Deivid Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berserkers's goalkeeper Mané de Alcântara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 72 minutes, Hélder Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mount Rushmore FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélder Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Montenegro in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mané de Alcântara saved Berserkers from getting behind. When Mount Rushmore FC's Ademir Coutinho in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Berserkers's goalie prevented a goal. When Hélder Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Mount Rushmore FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hélder Montenegro couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the game, Ademir Coutinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Mané de Alcântara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hélder Montenegro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Berserkers's Fausto Paraibano got a free kick in the 91st minute. Ademir Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané de Alcântara having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mount Rushmore FC had played much better football throughout.
