In the 10th match minute, Barcelona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Ademir Coutinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dário Carvalho was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After having played for 18 minutes, Hélder Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ademir Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicente Bastos's late challenge caught a Mount Rushmore FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Bastos helped the player get up and apologised. Enio Fantini shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 28 minutes into the game, João Adolfo Nóbrega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcelona FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mount Rushmore FC the free kick. After some careless play in the Barcelona FC defense, Hélder Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dário Carvalho. The Barcelona FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dário Carvalho should have stopped the shot. Hélder Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mount Rushmore FC booed when Barcelona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Barcelona FC defense, Hélder Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dário Carvalho. The Barcelona FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dário Carvalho should have stopped the shot. Raí Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Eliézer Leão made a huge save. The Barcelona FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mount Rushmore FC were winning 0-2.

Aníbal Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho Tande in the 52nd minute of play forced Mount Rushmore FC's goalkeeper Eliézer Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hélder Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glauco de Carvalho hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Hélder Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Mount Rushmore FC's Hélder Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dário Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ademir Coutinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dário Carvalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ademir Coutinho ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Dário Carvalho managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Mount Rushmore FC's Ademir Coutinho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Barcelona FC's João Adolfo Nóbrega got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered João Adolfo Nóbrega off the ground. After 66 played minutes Barcelona FC got a freekick which was hit by João Adolfo Nóbrega. 70 minutes into the match, Barcelona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Montenegro came free, but Dário Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademir Coutinho in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Ademir Coutinho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mount Rushmore FC were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Barcelona FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Enio Fantini took the corner. Barcelona FC's Chiquinho Tande couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mount Rushmore FC. Ademir Coutinho did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Dário Carvalho 92 minutes into the match. Mount Rushmore FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
