In the 31st minute Henrique Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Faria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeu Valle in the 34th minute. When Wesley Barral fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. During the 69th minute of the match Wesley Barral completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wesley Barral a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 70th match minute, JOBSON FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Barral to maneuver through the defense. Fairy Tail's Tiago Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Xavier in the 73rd minute of play. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in JOBSON FC's zone, Severino Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte de Lima came out of the goal and Severino Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fairy Tail players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for JOBSON FC.
