Joélson Passos came out of the goal and Simão Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Edvaldo Freitas fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 10 de Setembro's protests and gave Edvaldo Freitas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Whoff S.C booed when 10 de Setembro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvaldo Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joélson Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Souza in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, 10 de Setembro's Pedro Paulo Queiroz got a free kick in the 37th minute. Dedé Quadros came free in the 39th minute and tried to tip the ball over Joélson Passos, but to the joy of 10 de Setembro's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Moura in the 41st minute of play forced 10 de Setembro's goalkeeper Joélson Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 de Setembro's Joélson Passos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save 10 de Setembro from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the game, Simão Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Magno Travassos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiago Gabriel dos Santos in the 63rd minute. In the 64thth minute of the game Michel Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 10 de Setembro's Joélson Passos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Whoff S.C getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Rafa de Alcântara hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Nicolas Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 de Setembro's Joélson Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa de Alcântara in the 76th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Rafa de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simão Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Joélson Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Moura in the 92nd minute of play forced 10 de Setembro's goalkeeper Joélson Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simão Souza in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joélson Passos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joélson Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Whoff S.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
