Spectators: 5010 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when João Augusto Martins took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Augusto Martins got free with Pedro Augusto Alagoano in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Augusto Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Augusto Alagoano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, João Augusto Martins dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Augusto Alagoano, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Jerônimo Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrique Donatello was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 12th minute João Augusto Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerônimo Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Henrique Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Nascimento came free, but Henrique Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes PALMEIRAS got a freekick which was hit by Percy Linares. In the 29th minute Jerônimo Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Almir Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Percy Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerônimo Andrade struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Henrique Donatello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juacaba SS. In the 41st minute, Jerônimo Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrique Donatello was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Henrique Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo Andrade in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47thth minute of the game Jerônimo Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PALMEIRAS's Henrique Donatello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jerônimo Andrade made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in PALMEIRAS's zone, Jerônimo Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Donatello came out of the goal and Jerônimo Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juacaba SS's Almir Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Almir Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Donatello having to interfere. When Percy Linares fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PALMEIRAS's protests and gave Percy Linares a yellow card for diving instead. Henrique Donatello came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Juacaba SS's Almir Nascimento. But to his dismay, Almir Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of PALMEIRAS booed when Juacaba SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. PALMEIRAS's Mário Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS's João Augusto Martins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Augusto Alagoano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Almir Nascimento sped through PALMEIRAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henrique Donatello. Pedro Augusto Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Martins in the 75th minute of the match. Jerônimo Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When João Augusto Martins came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the PALMEIRAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Augusto Martins couldn't finish the play. Jerônimo Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Donatello having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in PALMEIRAS's zone, Almir Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Donatello came out of the goal and Almir Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Jerônimo Andrade took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Henrique Donatello to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the PALMEIRAS defense, Jerônimo Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrique Donatello. The PALMEIRAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrique Donatello should have stopped the shot. Juacaba SS played a much better game than PALMEIRAS and deserved their victory. The PALMEIRAS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
