Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dagoberto Koehler took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kolossus PG's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Raúl Figueiredo scored to the left of an out of position Décio Zanette, making the score, 1-0. Kolossus PG's Lúcio Peixoto got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Targinos's André Luiz Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Teixeira in the 24th minute of play. Egídio Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Zanette having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Raúl Figueiredo made a precise shot to the right of Décio Zanette. Kolossus PG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Raúl Figueiredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Décio Zanette. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raúl Figueiredo ran back to his position shaking his head. Décio Zanette was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Telmo Vaz. The supporters of Kolossus PG booed when Targinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Egídio Hoffmann made the kick off in the second half. André Luiz Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Koehler in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Kolossus PG booed when Targinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Targinos's André Luiz Porto got control of the ball when Clemente Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Targinos's Sandrinho da Rocha got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Targinos's goalkeeper André Luiz Porto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Sena. After 73 played minutes Kolossus PG got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Fernandez. André Luiz Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lúcio Peixoto's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute Raúl Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
