In the 10th minute, Luís Fábio Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zé Augusto Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mário Rocha in the 14th minute. The audience was convinced that Luís Fábio Mesquita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrique Donatello was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Bony.Fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when João Augusto Martins scored to the left of an out of position Zé Augusto Leão, making the score, 1-0. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Dênis Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. Natanael Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Henrique Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Augusto Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Fábio Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mário Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind PALMEIRAS's goalkeeper Henrique Donatello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 71 minutes of play, PALMEIRAS's João Augusto Martins made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Augusto Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Percy Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Zé Augusto Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Augusto Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 86th minute, Maurinho Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
