Serginho Terra hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maicon Braga in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Simão saved Luckasianos from getting behind.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Maicon Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balisa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maicon Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Simão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Luckasianos's Oscar Simão got control of the ball when Caetano Paraibano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Balisa FC's Olívio Vidal got a free kick in the 94th minute. Geraldo Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano de Brito having to interfere. Balisa FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
