Balisa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maicon Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felippe Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felippe Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Paraibano in the 27th minute of play. Lauro Palmeira hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Valdir Arósio made a precise shot to the right of Felippe Penha. PARANÁ CLUBE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With a left leg Felippe Penha saved PARANÁ CLUBE from getting behind. Caetano Paraibano struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Felippe Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balisa FC. Maicon Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olívio Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balisa FC's Adriano de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan França in the 93rd minute of play. If Caetano Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balisa FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
