Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) Waldemar Ferreira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute André Luiz Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Sá made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitório Cabral in the 15th minute. Lucas Castro, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Waldemar Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Marcelo Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Fabiano Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. HellTeam's Waldemar Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ademar Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Mazza in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind HellTeam's goalkeeper Ademar Viana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vitório Cabral struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Marcelo Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HellTeam. Luís Guilherme Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 41 minutes, André Luiz Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baete's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luiz Mazza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Guilherme Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Ferreira in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Guilherme Vaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Baete got a corner. HellTeam's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geovani Cearense ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 65 minutes, Fabiano Custódio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baete and the HellTeam players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Baete getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Fabiano Custódio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Ferreira in the 67th minute of play forced Baete's goalkeeper Marcelo Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, one of Baete:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lucas Castro shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Fabiano Custódio hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Waldemar Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Marcelo Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82ndth minute of the game Waldemar Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baete's Marcelo Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, André Luiz Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baete's supporters rose to their feet, but André Luiz Mazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ademar Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Baete's zone, Waldemar Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Sá came out of the goal and Waldemar Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Luiz Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Vitório Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
