Spectators: 6449 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Davi Brodel started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Santos FC's Tony Prado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Antunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Egídio Paraibano came free, but Kléber Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos FC's Kléber Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percy de Toledo in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Neiva came free, but Kléber Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Linhares in the 10th minute of play forced Puiracu FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedê Barbosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Antunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Santos FC booed when Puiracu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédson Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Puiracu FC's Davi Brodel in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santos FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Zé Paulo Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Percy de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléber Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kléber Barral came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Puiracu FC's Egídio Paraibano. But to his dismay, Egídio Paraibano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tony Prado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Anselmo Antunes made a huge save. After 33 minutes of play, Puiracu FC's Kauã Vieira made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kléber Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kléber Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egídio Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Dedê Barbosa in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anselmo Antunes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dedê Barbosa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Filipe Neiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kléber Barral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Augusto Chaves during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anselmo Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Barbosa in the 64th minute of the match. Kauã Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Kléber Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedê Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kléber Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Neiva in the 75th minute of the match. 75 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Puiracu FC's Filipe Neiva fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The supporters of Puiracu FC booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acácio Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Puiracu FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Zé Paulo Freire hit a great ball. Filipe Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Kléber Barral made a huge save. Kléber Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes into the game, Acácio Arantes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puiracu FC the free kick. In the 86th match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio Arantes to maneuver through the defense. Osmar Silva was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santos FC's goalkeeper Kléber Barral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute Silas França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléber Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kléber Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas França, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Tony Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Puiracu FC's Silas França sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kléber Barral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Puiracu FC played a much better game than Santos FC and deserved their victory. The Santos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
