Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Puiracu FC's Filipe Neiva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Puiracu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Mota came free, but Anselmo Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Novaes in the 15th minute of the match. Filipe Neiva charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe Neiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filipe Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Narciso Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmares SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Novaes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Novaes in the 18th minute of play forced Puiracu FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Neiva was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In a very dangerous position, a player in Palmares SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Narciso Novaes struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Anselmo Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmares SS. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Davi Brodel made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Palmares SS defense, Filipe Neiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean de Godoi. The Palmares SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean de Godoi should have stopped the shot. Jean de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Neiva in the 55th minute of play. Jean de Godoi came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Puiracu FC's Davi Brodel. But to his dismay, Davi Brodel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Davi Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jean de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Percy de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean de Godoi having to interfere. In the 66th minute Narciso Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Filipe Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palmares SS's Jean de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Neiva in the 75th minute of play. Osmar Silva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jean de Godoi. Palmares SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jean de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Neiva in the 81st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aírton de Queiroz during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jean de Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filipe Neiva went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 89 minutes into the game, Egídio Paraibano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Jean de Godoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jean de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Puiracu FC had played much better football throughout.
