Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Davi Brodel started the match with the kick off. Egídio Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Adelino Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Egídio Paraibano made a precise shot to the right of Adelino Meira. Fraga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Frédson Simões hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Adelino Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Brodel in the 12th minute of the match. With 15 minutes on the clock, Frédson Simões commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 16 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Brodel sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Anselmo Antunes threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Rodolfo Brodel this time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Neiva in the 19th minute of play forced Fraga's goalkeeper Adelino Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Puiracu FC's Filipe Neiva made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adelino Meira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute Filipe Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Puiracu FC's Anselmo Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Puiracu FC from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Puiracu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Campidelis came free, but Anselmo Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Egídio Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Paulo Campidelis was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Puiracu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Campidelis came free, but Anselmo Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maicon Catarinense hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Egídio Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Percy de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Meira having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Ernani Palmeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Antunes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 68th minute Filipe Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fraga's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Egídio Paraibano 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Egídio Paraibano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adelino Meira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Egídio Paraibano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puiracu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Adelino Meira was a little too slow when Egídio Paraibano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-5. After having played for 80 minutes, Egídio Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puiracu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egídio Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adelino Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egídio Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Filipe Neiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adelino Meira. Fraga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filipe Neiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. The Fraga fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Puiracu FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
