The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vicente Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Aloísio Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, True Hawks's Aírton Ceresso got a free kick in the 5th minute. Aloísio Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Matos in the 6th minute of the match. Claudinho Matos struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Aloísio Campidelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pontinha EC. Aloísio Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Mendonça in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Claudinho Matos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but True Hawks's Aloísio Campidelis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nando Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geovanni Pires in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Vicente Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aloísio Campidelis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute, Rony Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Pontinha EC defense, Geovanni Pires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nando Bastos. The Pontinha EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nando Bastos should have stopped the shot. In the 37th match minute, True Hawks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel de Lima to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Pontinha EC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Paulo Renato de Moraes hit a great ball. True Hawks's Aloísio Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Matos in the 41st minute of play. 48 minutes into the game, Pontinha EC's Claudinho Matos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aloísio Campidelis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The True Hawks players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pontinha EC were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudinho Matos to make the kick off. In the 61st play minute Vicente Mendonça came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aloísio Campidelis. 1-3. Vicente Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Aloísio Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, True Hawks's Leopoldo Xavier got a free kick in the 80th minute. Claudinho Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Aloísio Campidelis made a huge save. Vicente Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Campidelis having to interfere. Vicente Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Claudinho Matos notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of True Hawks's Aloísio Campidelis. Aloísio Campidelis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Pontinha EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than True Hawks.
