Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélio Freitas in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisão de Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Real Real getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Hermínio Dantas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Real Real's Téo Dias got a free kick in the 34th minute. Amadeu Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guilherme Damião in the 37th minute. Amadeu Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquinho Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Hélio Freitas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luisão de Mendonça was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Hélio Freitas in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luisão de Mendonça, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 79 minutes into the match, Real Real's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Gaúcho came free, but Amadeu Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
