When Gilmar Rodrigues, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Donato Souza was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kiko Rodrigues during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pururuca FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Kiko Rodrigues hit a great ball. Pururuca FC's Donato Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Neto in the 26th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Carlos Alberto Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pururuca FC and the Beauty Nathy F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Pururuca FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Machado. In the 32nd match minute, Beauty Nathy F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Lopez to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Beauty Nathy F.C.'s zone, Arthur da Mata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Vides came out of the goal and Arthur da Mata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adelino Lopez's late challenge caught a Pururuca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adelino Lopez helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Beauty Nathy F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pururuca FC:s goal. Delfim Prata walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.
