Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Juarês Cruz kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Edgard Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Evandro Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinhais FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino de Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Pinhais FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Hernani Braga hit a great ball. Cacá Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cacá Valles short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Paulo Zonta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Paulo Zonta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cacá Valle in the 18th minute. Roger Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juarês Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Zonta having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Oratorio's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Soares came free, but Severino de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roger Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Hernani Braga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Severino de Alcântara. Oratorio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Severino de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Teles charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Teles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pinhais FC booed when Oratorio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Hernani Braga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Severino de Alcântara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Juarês Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evandro Guerra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Severino de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Guerra in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Pinhais FC booed when Oratorio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Cacá Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 59 played minutes Pinhais FC got a freekick which was hit by Edson Vieira. In the 63rd minute, Evandro Guerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 70 played minutes Oratorio got a freekick which was hit by André Teles. Evandro Guerra was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Oratorio's Cacá Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cacá Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Paulo Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Cacá Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá Valle in the 81st minute of play. Cacá Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 minutes, Edson Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinhais FC and the Oratorio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claudinei de Salles was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pinhais FC's zone, Cacá Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Zonta came out of the goal and Cacá Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Pinhais FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Oratorio from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
