But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aloísio Bastos couldn't finish the play. Isidoro Bordat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Maicon Pereira made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Walmyr Vinhas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maicon Pereira. That made the score 0-2 in the 86 minute of play. The Flamute FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
