Spectators: 7213 (Terracing: 5411, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) In the 5thth minute of the game Hélio Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Angico FC's Chico Neto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 6 played minutes, Real Real's Vinícius Seco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chico Neto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Real reached it. José Augusto Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Neto having to interfere. After having played for 23 minutes, Hélio Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Real's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélio Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermínio Dantas took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chico Neto. Chico Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hélio Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Chico Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Real's Hermínio Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 minutes of play, Angico FC's Lino Baptista made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeu Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Real Real booed when Angico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinei Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélio Freitas in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Angico FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ademar de Moraes hit a great ball. José Augusto Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waldir Teles made a kick off. Amadeu Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Hélio Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Real's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélio Freitas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chico Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Real Real's Hélio Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hélio Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Hélio Freitas put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Chico Neto. A hard shot 73 in the game by Hélio Freitas from a close distance when the talented Chico Neto managed to make a qualified save. Angico FC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Augusto Marques in the 77th minute of play forced Angico FC's goalkeeper Chico Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 79 in the game by Hélio Freitas from a close distance when the talented Chico Neto managed to make a qualified save. Angico FC's players were relieved. Real Real were furious when Kaká Severo was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 92nd minute, one of Real Real:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Real. Angico FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Real Real had controlled the match.
