Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Walmyr Vinhas made the kick off which started today's match. Caveirão's Samuel Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmyr Vinhas in the 2nd minute of play. 4 minutes into the game, Otávio Mazza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gilson da Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Flamute FC's Isidoro Bordat got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Walmyr Vinhas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Samuel Duarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Caveirão's zone, Walmyr Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Duarte came out of the goal and Walmyr Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidoro Bordat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Samuel Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Caveirão:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Flamute FC:s goal. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Flamute FC. Walmyr Vinhas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Samuel Duarte. 1-2. Walmyr Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Bordat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Duarte having to interfere. When Flamute FC's Walmyr Vinhas in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caveirão's goalie prevented a goal. When Walmyr Vinhas came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Flamute FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmyr Vinhas couldn't finish the play. After 45 played minutes Flamute FC got a freekick which was hit by Vinícius Ramos. Walmyr Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Duarte having to interfere. The Caveirão players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Flamute FC were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Breno Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Caveirão defense, Isidoro Bordat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Duarte. The Caveirão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Duarte should have stopped the shot. Samuel Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmyr Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Caveirão's Breno Moura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilson da Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Flamute FC's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Moura came free, but Gilson da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Bordat got free with Samuel Duarte in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Walmyr Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Caveirão's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isidoro Bordat fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gilson da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diguinho Carneiro in the 94th minute of the match. Flamute FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
