Spectators: 7179 (Terracing: 5386, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) Cochinho's Durvalino Rocha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hélder Gonçalves didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 4th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. If Durvalino Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Wesley Rosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilmar Brito was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Gilmar Brito came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Cochinho's Durvalino Rocha. But to his dismay, Durvalino Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 15 minutes into the game, Durvalino Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gilmar Brito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, Sampas Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Rosa came free, but Gilmar Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sampas Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Leandro Macedo hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Cochinho's Giovanni Torres tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Mauro Hermes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 played minutes Cochinho got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Quintal. Joel Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Joel Machado hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Natanael Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Mauro Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sampas Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Gonçalves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Sampas Futebol Clube's Giovanni Pombal got a free kick in the 40th minute. Cochinho's Giovanni Torres couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sampas Futebol Clube. In the 43rd minute, Natanael Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Natanael Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Hermes to strike the kick off in the second half. When Sampas Futebol Clube's Natanael Correia in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cochinho's goalie prevented a goal. Mauro Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Durvalino Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gilmar Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Adelino Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sampas Futebol Clube's Cléber Vasconcelos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cochinho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Hermes in the 63rd minute of play forced Cochinho's goalkeeper Hélder Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ulysses Mota fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cochinho's protests and gave Ulysses Mota a yellow card for diving instead. Ulysses Mota hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Giovanni Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Gonçalves having to interfere. Hélder Gonçalves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Hermes's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 85th match minute, Cochinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Varela to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the game, Sampas Futebol Clube's Natanael Correia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hélder Gonçalves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 94thth minute of the game Mauro Hermes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cochinho's Hélder Gonçalves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sampas Futebol Clube's Mauro Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sampas Futebol Clube were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
