Arthur Moreno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Hélder Gonçalves made a huge save. In the 14th minute, The Huge Tortoise FC's Sérgio Cardozo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Sérgio Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 20 played minutes Sérgio Cardozo rounded Cochinho's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Rodrigo Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durvalino Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Durvalino Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Mineiro charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Mineiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes The Huge Tortoise FC got a freekick which was hit by Enio Gaspar. Durvalino Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of The Huge Tortoise FC booed when Cochinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sérgio Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Gonçalves having to interfere. In the 59thth minute of the game Sérgio Cardozo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cochinho's Hélder Gonçalves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cochinho's Hélder Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Mineiro in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Sérgio Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tony Mineiro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. Tony Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. A hard shot by Giovanni Torres from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Rodrigo Mendonça's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 75 minutes, Wesley Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cochinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesley Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Durvalino Rocha fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rodrigo Mendonça, passed just outside the right post. If Wesley Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Durvalino Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Mendonça having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cochinho's Giovanni Torres got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The The Huge Tortoise FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cochinho had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
