João Pedro Borges didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesinha Freitas went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ramiro Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Borges having to interfere. Rogério Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesinha Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Borges having to interfere. Cesinha Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. João Pedro Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Pedro Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Freitas in the 17th minute of play. Alexandre da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Grêmio IGFC's Fabiano Furlan got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Cesinha Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. João Pedro Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Juarês das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juarês das Neves was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 39 minutes into the game, Dé Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raso SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grêmio IGFC the free kick. Dé Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Raso SS's Zeca Souto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Raso SS from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio IGFC's zone, Rogério Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Pedro Borges came out of the goal and Rogério Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juarês das Neves to make the kick off. Rogério Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. João Pedro Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Raso SS's zone, Juarês das Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeca Souto came out of the goal and Juarês das Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute of the match Grêmio IGFC got a corner. Raso SS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabiano Furlan ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Anselmo Queiroz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zeca Souto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cesinha Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Juarês das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juarês das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Zeca Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Raso SS's Ramiro Secco got a free kick in the 80th minute. Zeca Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogério Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Pedro Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Cesinha Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. João Pedro Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raso SS's Zeca Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês das Neves in the 93rd minute of play. Cesinha Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Raso SS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
